I have lived and worked in and around London for most of my life apart from a number of years when I lived and worked overseas.
I have been an active member of UKIP for over twelve years and have previously stood in local, European, parliamentary and GLA elections.
Since November 2004 I have worked for Gerard Batten (our UKIP London MEP) as a political assistant and have acted as the London Regional Organiser.
I have been actively involved with London issues and have had a letter published in the Evening standard having uncovered accounting irregularities in the Budget for the London 2012 Olympics. I have also done a number of television and radio interviews including; BBC radio, BBC London, the Politics Show and Cannel 4 News.
Most recently I have been working with a number of small business organisations, some of whose members will be forced out of business when Boris expands the scope of the LEZ in January next year. Not least of those affected is the humble ice cream van, which could be forced off the streets of London.
As the UKIP Mayoral candidate I would be able to take the fight to Boris and highlight how the recent EU Financial Service Directives voted for by both Conservative and Labour MEPs will have a huge impact on the way the City operates and will result financial in service jobs moving overseas.
