TfL boss, Peter Hendy today call on those travelling to the 2012 Olympics to stagger their journeys and to stop off for a drink along the way to ease overcrowding.
Although we do not yet know the final bill for the Olympics around £20billion has been spent on London’s transport infrastructure in readiness for the games; is this is really the best solution to the potential travel chaos. Perhaps a little too much of that £20billion was spent on hospitality rather than upgrading London’s creaking transport network.
