UKIP on 7% in Angus Reid Poll
Political Betting is reporting that the latest Angus Reid opinion poll, due out tomorrow, shows the Tories back at 40% but also a slight jump for “others”.
Conservative: 40%
Labour 23%
Lib-Dem 19%
UKIP 7%
SNP 3%
BNP 4%
GRN 3%
PC 1%
All encouraging stuff.
Interesting that the Green party seem stuck down at the bottom, especially with Copenhagen in the news this week and green issues constantly on the agenda. Maybe they are suffering from the fact the main parties are seen to be setting a green agenda without them?

Harry these small %ages with our 1st past the post system, means NO small party MPs. British Representative democracy at its establishment best, where they tell lies to get in, then do whatever they want, oh Harry have you seen the film Fitna yet. Bryan

True Bryan, but votes matter because they can determine the results in many seats. If UKIP goes from 600,000 votes in 2005 to over 1m votes next year it will will crank up the pressure on the other parties.

This is fantastic, not only is this a new high for us but the figures are stable suggesting UKIP are now building their own core vote.
