Political Betting has an interesting post showing polling research examining how Tory voters are leaning…

It is perhaps quite surprising that over 50% would switch back to Labour or Lib-Dems. But 23% is a good strong showing for UKIP, although I am not sure whether other parties wee listed or just those shown.
PaddyPower is offering odds on the number of votes UKIP will get in the General Election. The money seems to suggest UKIP should be in with a strong chance of passing the 1m vote barrier and up to 1.25m votes. Personally I think passing the 1m barrier is realistic.
Ladbrokes has consistently slashed its odds on UKIP winning a seat in the General Election. It is now offering 2/1, which also suggests a high degree of confidence UKIP could be packing its first MP off to Westminster.
Those who reject the proposition that so-called global warming is exclusively Man-made, or in any case do not believe more CO2 and a warmer World would have net negative effects rather than net positive effects have nowhere to go with their vote except the BNP apparently according to Mr Griffin's recent comments.
UKIP says it is moving beyond being a single issue party – off you go then here is a cause waiting for you.

This just in via UKIP Bournemouth West:
UKIP will officially launch its National Campaign for a Referendum on EU membership in London tomorrow.
The launch coincides with the date the Lisbon Treaty takes full effect.
A campaign petition demands that the next Government gives the people of the UK a chance to vote on our membership of the EU. People can sign the petition online or by filling in one of the millions of leaflets distributed by UKIP supporters and others.
New UKIP Leader Lord Pearson of Rannoch will join Nigel Farage, MEPs and MPs at the launch which has already won strong cross-party support.
The event will be held on College Green, tomorrow Tuesday. December 1 at 10.25am
surely the poll is showing what parties somebody who WOULDNT vote Tories would be voting, not what way Tories will be voting..?
People are beginning to realise that UKIP is a real alternative to the big three parties.
