He's totally right. 4 of only 8 triple A rated banks are Australian. I spoke to a former colleague of mine who now lives in Canada ,he is an extreme marxist, and even he said the Canadian banks are brilliant, they are flying high, loaning money to new businesses and doing exceptionally well.
This whole thing has been a failure of mixed market, keynsian politics that is now blamed squarely on "the market"
