But where is the speech Nigel did at the ICAEW during the campaign. His stance on this is not recent – the issue has been raised before. A couple of years ago Mick McGough and I attended a seminar which included the very foregetable Tory who had been responsible for trying to water down the Financial Services Action Plan. Needless to say she failed.
When we asked her to identify a single benefit to the City and UK from FSAP she could not do so.
